Throughout this construction process, I keep being reminded that Rome was not built in a day. And even with this repeating thought, I am amazed anew each morning as your new club takes shape. It has been, and continues to be, such a thrilling process to watch what the Club transcends from mere Member ideas and wishes to actual new rooms and programs.

Don’t get me wrong. I have no bone to pick with perfectionists; particularly not those who might find themselves operating on my heart, building my home or fixing my cars’ brakes. It goes without saying then that there are many situations in which is it extremely important to have things be perfect (or as close to it!).

History Made at Acura Business/Sports/Society ClubCorp Team Championship
 During the first day of tournament play at the Business/Sports/Society ClubCorp Team Championship at The Homestead in Hot Springs, Virginia, history was made when Mort Congleton, a Member at the Cardinal Club in Raleigh, North Carolina, hit a 190-yard hole-in-one on No. 18 to win a 2010 Acura ZDX, a first in Acura's 17 years as a tournament sponsor.

‘Women on Course’ is holding a Happy Hour event at the University Club this month open to Members and Guests! ‘Women On Course’ connects it’s members to learn golf tips, find resources, creates golf forums and more.
